About Markus Weichselbaum
Markus was born in Vienna, Austria, lives in Australia since 1994, and still speaks with a strong accent that sounds a little bit like "Arnie".
Markus founded Cherry Internet Services (CIS) in 2000 while completing his PhD thesis in the field of neuroscience. After his PhD, Markus was employed as Research Officer at the Sir Charles Gardiner Hospital. In 2003, CIS was incorporated and Markus took on the fulltime position of director of CIS.
Qualifications
Markus holds an degree in Biology, a MSc in Biophysics (Univ. of Osnabrueck, Germany, 1993) and PhD in Physiology (with distinction, Univ. of Western Australia).
